We are glad to announce that this September, we will be rebranding UniDosh under the name UniTaskr. This decision has not come lightly, however one we feel, is in the best interest of both our customers and the company itself.
UniDosh was launched back in 2017 as a student only platform. The name UniDosh worked fantastically when the platform was exclusive to students, however as we’ve grown, so has our offering and due to our move into the public, the name UniDosh no longer acts as an accurate representation of who we are and what we do. Our research has shown that changing the name to UniTaskr will help mature the product and generate increased user registrations, both on the student and public side. Therefore resulting in a wider and more diverse range of skills and tasks.
Having begun to plan our future expansion into the USA, we found that the word ‘Dosh’ was not well understood, which would in turn make launching there more difficult. As Max Depree says ‘We can not become what we want, by remaining what we are’. We have no doubt that this is the best move forward and we look forward to sharing this journey with you!
